Patient Organisations

Diagnosis of generalised and partial lipodystrophy is challenging owing to a wide variability in clinical manifestations and severity of symptoms. Hence, many patients may experience marked delays in obtaining a definitive diagnosis. Patient organisations might help patients to deal better with their disease and can furthermore provide important detailed information about lipodystrophy.
